Fourth Annual Golf Outing

            The Giving to Ghana Foundation, Inc. is pleased to announce that its Fourth Annual Golf Outing will be held on October 14, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. at the Whippoorwill Golf Club in Armonk, New York.  The Foundation's three prior Golf Outings have been successful in raising funds required to complete the construction of St. Matthew's Clinic in the Sunyani Diocese in Ghana, West Africa.  The Foundation's efforts started over three years ago with a ground breaking ceremony.  Through the dedication of the many golfers and supporters who have attended the past three years of Golf Outings, the Foundation has successfully centered attention and drawn the interests and contributions of many individuals to successfully complete St. Matthew's Clinic.   

            The Foundation is launching a concept new to West Africa known as "tele-medicine."  With St. Matthew's Clinic being the central location for medical and nursing staffing, various smaller "satellite" clinics will be located that can be serviced through the internet with the medical personnel at St. Matthew's Clinic.  The first "internet medical clinic" will be St. Anthony's Clinic located in Badu, Ghana. Ground breaking for St. Anthony's Clinic is scheduled for August 1, 2010.
